A female polling agent was shot dead while three other persons, including a child, were injured during re-polling for PB-7 (Ziarat-Harnai Constituency) at the Government Girls School in Sanjawi area of Ziarat District in Balochistan on March 2, reports The Balochistan Post. During a clash between supporters of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate and former provincial minister, Noor Muhammad Dummar, and the supporters of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), violence erupted, which resulted in an exchange of gunfire between the two groups that continued for several hours until Security Forces (SFs) arrived and secured the polling station.
