On 9 March 2024, in Za Yat Gyi village of Taungtha township (Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the 27 Revolution Forces - Myingyan, People's Defense Force - Myingyan District Battalion - 3, Battalion - 4, Battalion - 8, Myingyan District Drone Strike and People's Defense Force - Mahlaing (PaKaPha) carried out five drone strikes against the Myanmar military troops stationed at a monastery at around 11 am. Myanmar Pressphoto Agency reported that four military soldiers were injured. Another source, Khit Thit Media reported that a military soldier was killed and two were injured. Fatalities coded as 0 for the lowest estimates.
