Projectile event in Ukraine on Sat 16th March 2024

On March 15, in accordance with the order of cooperation of services 101 and 102, the emergency workers received a message about the need to carry out work to clear the territory of explosive objects near the village of Kolpytiv, Volodymyr district. Employees of the group of pyrotechnic works and humanitarian demining of the Volyn Oblast Department of Emergency Situations checked 1,600 square meters of territory and found 167 artillery munitions from the First World War. After lying for more than a century, they still posed a mortal danger. Explosive objects detected were neutralized.
