On 1 March 2024, in Minbya town (Minbya township, Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), the military conducted an airstrike by dropping 10 bombs around 11 pm, hitting and destroying at least five houses in Kin Seik ward and Gant Kaw Myaing ward. Narinjara News reported that 4 locals were injured. Another source, Democratic Voice of Burma reported that 7 locals were injured, including an 18-year-old girl.
