On 1 March 2024, NAF conducted airstrikes that were targeted at illegal oil refining sites at Temokiri (Degema, Rivers) and Krakrama (coded separately). Cotonou boat were sighted and the locations and were destroyed alongside the sites. A total of four sites were destroyed at the locations.
