On 3 March 2024, between Bant Bway Kan and Yoke Saing villages (coded as Bant Bway Kan) (Paungde township, Pyay district, Bago-West region), the People's Defense Force - Pyay District Battalion - 3601 company - 5 attacked the Myanmar military troops which raided the PDF outpost with four remote explosives around 9 pm. The military troops set fire and destroyed the PDF outpost after being attacked. Three military soldiers were killed and many were injured.
