On 5 March 2024, near Kan Taw village (Pakokku township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of local defense forces carried out mine attacks against Myanmar military troops who were transporting injured soldiers to Pakokku town. The combined force includes the People's Defense Force - Myaing (PaKaPha), the Myaing U.A.V Fighter, the Union Brothers, the Earthquake People's Defense Force, the People's Defense Force - Pakokku District (battalion 2), the Kamma Regional Revolution Coalition, and the People's Defense Force - Pakokku (PaKaPha). Casualties unknown.
