On 6 March 2024, around 3:15 PM, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on Yaroun town (Bint Jbeil, Al Nabatieh) amid ongoing hostilities with Hezbollah. Earlier, on the same day, the Israeli military fired 20 artillery shells (155mm) towards the town. The Israeli military announced it had targeted military infrastructure for Hezbollah in the town. At least one Hezbollah member was likely killed in this airstrike.
