On 8 March 2024, a landmine previously planted by IS detonated in Rawah desert (Ana, Al Anbar) during a sweeping operation by the 57th Brigade of the PMF and the TMF. The blast killed 1 PMF fighter (2 according to some sources) and injured 2 others (3 according to some sources). 1 fatality coded. The killed PMF fighter is the brother of a prominent Azm coalition politician.
