On 23 February 2024, in Moke Pa Lin village (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military troops stationed at the Moke Pa Lin checkpoint fired 81 mm heavy weapons indiscriminately after being attacked by the resistance troops (coded separately), which fell in front of the Kyauk Sein Pwint monastery and injured a 13-year-old boy.
