On 24 February 2024, in Nyaung Hpyu Pin village (Monywa township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), a combined force of local defense forces attacked the Nyaung Hpyu Pin police station by dropping explosives from fixed-wing drones from around 3:30 pm until 6 pm. The combined force includes the Myaung Special People's Defense Force, the People's Defense Force - Myingyan District (battalion 3), the Natogyi Regional Defense Force, the People's Defense Force - Monywa District (battalion 12 - company 2), the People's Defense Force - Meiktila District (battalion 3), the People's Defense Force - Chauk, the MGN 35 Guerrilla Force, the Golden Eagle Force - Monywa-V2, the Justice Warriors Force, and an unidentified local defense force. Casualties unknown.
