On 25 February 2024, in Okpho town (Okpho township, Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), unidentified local defense forces attacked the office of the Military Security Affairs (SaYaPha) located on the Chan Mya Thar May (2) street in Moe Nyo Tan ward with bombs at around 2:30 pm. A captain, a sergeant clerk and another officer sustained injuries. Half of an armory and some furniture was burned down.
