On 25 February 2024, near Hpa Yar Gyi village (Shwegyin township, Bago district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes two times and dropped bombs and opened fire with a machine gun around Kay Lar Tha and Kyun Pin Taw outposts (the military's deserted outposts) around 12 pm. Houses were destroyed. Mizzima reported that 4 members of PDF troops were injured.
