On 26 February 2024, the NRF fighters launched 3 missile attacks at the Kabul international airport (Hamid Karzai International Airport) in Kabul city, targeting the Taliban air forces headquarters and military helicopters in the airport. Fatalities coded as 3 (NRF claimed the killing of 4 Taliban forces and wounding of 3 others). The Taliban police spokesman rejected any attack in the Kabul airport.
