Air Delivered event in Myanmar on Tue 27th February 2024

On February 27th, 14 local residents were injured when the Military Council came and bombed Sekan village in Minpya Township with a jet fighter. On the same day, Min Phu Hospital in Min Pyay Township was also bombed by a jet fighter, most of the hospital's buildings were damaged, and civilians receiving medical treatment. (AA) reported that hospital staff and prisoners of war were injured. RFA reached out to Rakhine State Attorney General U Hla Thein, who is authorized to speak in Rakhine state of the military council, to get a response about these issues, but he did not pick up the phone. The military council battalions based in Minpyat, such as Khmer (379), The three battalions (380) and (541) have been captured by the Rakhine Army (AA) since February 6 and have taken control of the city.
