Four locals were injured due to aerial bombardment in Minpya ~~~ ■ Rakhine State. Residents said that four people were injured when a military jet bombed the checkpoint area of Minpyat at 11:00 last night on March 1st. Five bombs were dropped, injuring four people, two of whom were seriously injured, a resident told RFA on condition of anonymity because of security reasons. "Yesterday at 11 o'clock, a jet plane came and bombed. Five bombs were dropped. Four civilians were injured. One of them went blind. Another lost his leg. A bomb fell near our house," he said, adding that one house was burned and two houses were damaged. Locals said that one of the five bombs dropped remained unexploded.
