In Odessa, an anchor river mine was discovered and destroyed on one of the beaches.
This was announced on Facebook by the Office of the State Emergency Service of the Odesa Region, Ukrinform reports.
"Yesterday, an explosive object was discovered on one of Odessa's beaches. Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service arrived at the scene of the call and identified the anchor river mine. Today, the ammunition was destroyed in a controlled manner," the message reads.
The rescuers emphasized that in case of discovery of an explosive or suspicious object, it should not be touched in any case, but the emergency services should be called.
As reported by Ukrinform, a sea mine was blown into the coastal waters of the Odesa region by a storm , and experts carried out a controlled detonation.
