Doctor Al-Sir Awad (Wad Zeinab) was martyred in Medina Arab Hospital by Janjaweed bullets inside the hospital. The doctor was treacherously killed, along with a colleague from one of the doctors, after the failure of an operation performed on an injured militia member who died after the operation. All they had to do was target the doctors with lethal bullets, which led to their immediate death.
