On 18 February 2024, JNIM claimed to have detonated an IED with directed charge against a military forces between localities named as 'Doti' and 'Koini', in the region of Dedougou, location coded to Dedougou (Dedougou, Mouhoun). The detonation caused human and material losses, the statement claimed. Casualties unknown.
