On 19 February 2024, in Mansi town of Mansi township (Bhamo district, Kachin state), heavy artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military troops LIB-47 stationed in Bhamo town landed in Mansi town and killed a child at around 7 pm. The explosion of the shelling also caused heart failure of another civilian and led her dead.
