On 19 February 2024, ENDF carried out a drone attack on an ISUZU truck transporting more than 40 passengers in Mojan Wedera Woreda at Fela Magenteya (location coded to the admin center of the woreda, Sela Dingay, North Shewa, Amhara), following clashes between ENDF and Fano forces in the nearby areas in the woreda (coded separately). At least 30 people, including the driver, were killed, and more than 15 were injured. Most of the victims were close relatives who were returning from an infant's baptism ceremony at a church in Sasit town, whilst others were fleeing to escape from the ongoing fighting in the area.
