On 22 February 2024, near Man Mai village (Muse township, Muse district, Shan-North state), an unknown armed group planted a remote explosive near a hill, which exploded and killed a 60-year-old woman with injuries in the face, head and legs. RFA reported that a woman was killed by a remote explosive while Shan Herald Agency for News reported that she was severely injured and sent to the Baho hospital in Muse town. Fatalities coded 0 using the lowest estimate.
