A JCB operator, Dheeraj Kumar Singh, engaged in road construction work, was injured due to a bullet injury when three cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) shot at him and created panic by firing at the JCB vehicle of the construction agency in Kudu Police Station area of the Lohardaga district of Jharkhand on February 26, reports etvbharat.com. According to the information, under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Rozgar Yojana, road construction work is going on from Kudu block, turn Kudu, to Banduwa turn, via Sundru in Lohardaga. Maoists have left four handwritten leaflets in the name of Koel Shankh Zone at the spot, and Maoists have taken responsibility for the incident.
