On 5 February 2024, near Tha Hpan Zin village (Yedashe township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), a combined force of the Red Bandana Column, the Kee Ku Column, the People's Defense Force - Nay Pyi Taw and the Taungoo District PDF Battalion 3501 (companies 3 and 4) carried out mine attacks against about 60 Myanmar military troops who were heading from Shwe Ka Zaung village to Tha Hpan Zin village at around 4:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
