On July 16, pro-Houthi forces reportedly shelled anti-Houthi National Resistance forces east of Salh Complex in the north of Hodeidah Red Sea port city and in Kilo 16 area east of the city, western Yemen, with 120mm mortar shells and 23mm machine guns, with no report of fatalities nor injuries.
