On 7 February 2024, ISPP militants detonated a powerful motorcycle-laden explosive outside the campaign office of an independent electoral candidate in Khanozai Town (Pishin, Balochistan) while the polling agents were being finalized, ahead of the upcoming general elections. The candidate was not present at the site and remained unhurt. 18 people were killed (including likely supporters of the independent candidate based on the location) and 31 others were injured. This was one of the two twin bombings conducted by ISPP (coded separately).
