On 7 February 2024, in Loi Put village (coded as Loi Put Ywar Gyi) (Hsihseng township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, Shan-South state), following a clash between the Myanmar military and the Pa-Oh National Liberation Army (PNLA) (coded separately), the military launched airstrikes on the village at around 8 am, assuming that there were PNLA troops in the village. An 8-year-old child and a 12-year-old child were killed on the spot.
