SAA event in Mizoram, Champhai District area, India on Sat 10th February 2024

On February 10, Assam Rifles established a Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) on the Mualkawi route (Champhai- Zokhawthar Road) in Champhai District of Mizoram and intercepted a vehicle and recovered two 12 mm bore guns (single and double barrel) along with other war-like items which included two Single Barrel Breech Loading (SBBL) 12 Bore Gun, one Double Barrel Breech Loading (DBBL) 12 Bore Gun, 10 daggers, 10 walkie-talkies, 100 .32 mm calibre pistol Rounds, 100 lightweight bulletproof plates, four heavyweight bulletproof plates, 20 pairs of combat dresses, one black uniform, 50 combat scarves and 110 pairs of jungle boots, reports India TodayNE. One person identified as Lalnuntluanga (24) was apprehended along with the vehicle.
