Grenade event in Manipur, Thonglang Akutpa in Kangpokpi DIstrict area, India on Fri 9th February 2024

On February 9, search operations were conducted by security forces (SFs) in two separate locations in Kangpokpi District of Manipur, reports India TodayNE. In one operation, one 9mm Pistol with Magazine, one 7.65 mm Pistol with Magazine, 10 9mm ammunition, two .32 mm ammunition, three 9 mm empty case and two.32 mm empty case were recovered from the general area between Songjang village and Thonglang Akutpa village. along the IT road of Kangpokpi District. On the otherhand, one carbine machine gun with magazine, one INSAS Magazine, eight 5.56 mm ammunition, one.36 hand grenade, one 51 mm mor Illumination round, one local made Pumpi, two local made hand grenade and one walkie-talkie along with charger were recovered from N. Changoubung of Kangpokpi District.
