A Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) personnel was killed while another personnel sustained injuries in a blast when they were trying to neutralise an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Shigokas area of Lower Dir District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on February 5, reports The Khorasan Diary. At least14 rounds of mortar shells were recovered from the Raza Gram area of Toormang Dara in Lower Dir, the explosion took place when one of the mortars was being defused.
