An explosion was reported near the Election Commission office in Karachi city, the provincial capital of Sindh, on February 2, reports The Khorasan Diary. “Someone picked up a shopping bag and it exploded” a Police said. “400 grams of explosive placed in a tin with a high volt battery and timer were placed outside the election commission office. There was no loss of life”, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) said in its statement. The Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) claimed responsibility of the attack.
