At least seven people were injured in a hand grenade attack at the election campaign office of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) at Gahai Khan Chowk in Sariab area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, on January 31, reports The Khorasan Diary. Sariab Superintendent of Police (SP) Shafqat Janjua said that the grenade rebounded off a car parked outside the election office and exploded upon hitting the ground, adds Dawn. He added that PPP candidate, Maddad Jatak, was among the injured.
