On January 28, the Socialist Revolutionary Party Kangleipak (SOREPA) shot to death an ex-serviceman identified as Heisnam Bobo (39) and his bullet-ridden body was found between Tekcham Ching Manning and Thabal Chingya under Khongjom Police station in Thoubal District of Manipur, reports Northeast Now. In a statement, the ‘secretary’ of publicity and organization of the SOREPA, MC Yaiphabi stated that the ex-serviceman had committed sexual offenses to his daughter when he was under the influence of intoxicant substances and the outfit has taken up the move based on a complaint from the victim’s mother.
