A corner meeting scheduled at the house of Javaid Nosharwani in support of Shoaib Nosharwani, former Interior Provincial Minister of Balochistan and candidate for Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) for PB-33 Kharan in the upcoming general election, was targeted in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in the Dairy Farm area of Kharan District in Balochistan on January 28, reports The Khorasan Diary. No loss of life or property has been reported in the explosion. Azad faction of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA-Azad) claimed responsibility for the attack.
