On January 17, two Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) troopers, attached to Manipur Police commando, identified asWangkhem Somorjit Meetei and Takhellambam Sieleshwor Singh, were killed and six others were injured as Kuki militants attacked security forces (SFs) with rocket-propelled grenades (RPG) and numerous live rounds in Moreh in Tengnoupal District of Manipur, reports The Hindustan Times. The six injured Police personnels were identified as Mohammad Kamal Hassan,Songsuathui Aimol, Mohammad Abdul Hasim, Ngasepam Vim, Sidarth Thokchom and K Premananda. SATP had yesterday reported the killing of Wangkhem Somorjit.
