On 26 January 2024, in Nyaung Zauk village (Yesagyo township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military stationed at the General Administration Department office fired three 80 mm heavy weapons without an armed clash occurring, one of them fell and exploded into the village and injured a 40-year-old man, a woman and a 10-year-old girl. They were injured at the stomach, head and arms and sent to a hospital.
