On 29 January 2024, in Pyin Si village (Natogyi township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a combined force of local defense forces attacked Myanmar military troops stationed at a high school in the village with bombs attached to drones three times at around 3 pm. The combined force includes the Natogyi People's Defense Force, the Myingyan District Drone Strike, the Natogyi Regional Defense Force, the People's Defense Force - Mahlaing (PaKaPha), the Bo Sar Guerrilla Force and the People's Defense Force - Natogyi (PaKaPha). Two military troops sustained injuries. The other source, Irrawaddy, reported that three military soldiers died in the drone strikes. Fatalities coded as 0 using the lowest estimate.
