On 30 January 2024, in Lashio town of Lashio township (Lashio district, Shan-North state), two bomb explosions occurred in front of RD machinery hardware Store located on the Kyar Ni street near No.3 ward night market at around 2 pm. The explosions came from a motorbike parked in front of the RD Store. The explosions destroyed two motorbikes and injured four family members and staff from the store, including a child. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion.
