On 31 January 2024, near Bar Bu Kone village of Kyauktaga township (Bogo district, Bago-East region), an unidentified anti-coup resistance group launched a mine attack against No.901 train between 103/12 and 103/13 mile posts at around 8 am. The attack came as the resistance suspected of carrying military weapons and supplies. There were no casualties.
