On 1 February 2024, in Hsihseng town (Hsihseng township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, Shan-South state), the military and the Pa-Oh National Army conducted airstrikes and fired artillery rounds on the town at noon. A clothing shop in Aung Tha Pyay ward and some other residential houses in Hpa Yar Hpyu (3) ward were destroyed. Casualties unknown.
