On 2 February 2024, US warplanes conducted airstrikes at midnight targeting positions held by IRGC and Pro-Iran militias in Al Tamo neighborhood, the Grain Silos, and the commander's house of Abu Al Fadhal al Abbas Brigade in Al-Balloum neighborhood in Al Mayadin city in the countryside of Deir ez Zor, killing 13 members of Pro-Iran militias. 13 fatalities.
