On 23 January 2024, in Tada-U township (Kyaukse district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the Brave Warriors for Myanmar, Security & Special Task Force CDM People's Police and the Urban Special Operation attacked the military airbase located within the Mandalay International Airport compound with twelve 107 mm rockets. Only 5 rockets landed in the airbase and destroyed a building while the other 7 rockets did not land due to error. The military claimed to have seized eight 107 mm rockets at the Mandalay International Airport. Casualties unknown.
