On 14 November 2020, a man on a motorcycle blew himself up next to a Emirati convoy and Shabwani Elite on its way to Alam military camp on the highway between Azzan and Balhaf in Mayfaa district (Shabwah) in Malbouha, near Jawl Raida. The perpetrator was killed, but no fatalities or injuries to others occurred.
