A total of 42 combat clashes between Ukrainian defenders and Russian occupation forces took place on the front line over the course of the last 24 hours. Details: On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack near Synkivka (Kharkiv Oblast), where the Russians tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops. On the Lyman front, Ukrainian troops repelled four Russian attacks near Yampolivka and Torske (Donetsk Oblast) and two more attacks near Bilohorivka and Serebrianka Forest (Luhansk Oblast), where the Russians tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops. On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian defence forces repelled two Russian attacks near Bohdanivka and Klishchiivka (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians failed to improve their tactical position. On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian attacks near Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another eight attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians, supported by their aircraft, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian defenders. On the Marinka front, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued to hold back the Russians near Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast). The occupiers, using their aircraft, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation nine times. On the Shakhtarsk front, the Russians did not conduct any offensive (assault) operations. On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks south of Chervone, west of Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast), where the Russians, with the support of their aircraft, unsuccessfully tried to regain the lost ground. The Russians have not abandoned their intention to drive Ukrainian units from the bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, the Russians made seven unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian forces.
