On 6 January 2024, Turkish army forces carried out a series of airstrikes against PKK targets in Gara (Chiya-e Gara) and Metina regions of Duhok and Hakurk (Wadi Khakurik) and Kandil (Silsilat Jibal Qandil) regions of Erbil and Asos (Jabal Asaws) area of Al Sulaymaniyah. A total of 15 PKK positions were destroyed in the airstrikes. One event for each location (total 5 events) coded. Casualties unknown.
