Mine event in Donbas , Oleksandrivka area, Ukraine on Thu 12th November 2020
12th November 2020
First civilians who suffered in Donbas combat area since the beginning of the ceasefire could have been injured due to the landmine explosion. Press office of the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group reported that on its Telegram channel. "Civilians stepped on landmines set on the division line", reads the message. Earlier, in the press statement, OSCE Special Representative Heidi Grau expressed concerns because of the injuries of two civilians in the area of Oleksandrivka settlement on November 12. The Ukrainian side claims that the OSCE report does not mention any violations by Ukraine's Armed Forces on that day. On November 12, the Russian side did not request the ceasefire; during this month, OSCE did not mention any violations in this area at all. At the same time, Ukrainian observers in the Joint Control and Coordination Centre reported explosions that remind the explosions of mine blockades.
