On 9 January 2024, in Taung Inn village (Singu township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), unidentified local defense forces attacked Pyu Saw Htee members stationed at a house belonging to a Pyu Saw Htee member, who is also a village administrator, with bombs attached to drones at around 5 am. Five Pyu Saw Htee members sustained severe injuries.
