On 22 September 2023, in South Okkalapa township (Yangon-North district, Yangon region), the Urban Special Operation (USO) a 40 mm grenade attack at a building near the Indo City area owned by a military crony and owner of Dynasty Group Companies located on Wai Za Yan Tar Road at 7:33 pm. The man was allegedly responsible for arms dealing for the Myanmar military forces. Separately, another bomb exploded at the township golf center at around 8 pm. There were no casualties.
