On 22 September 2023, between Nyaung Yin Kone and Me Si villages of Pale township (Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), a local People's Defense Force (PDF) carried out a mine attack against the Myanmar military troops. Some military soldiers were severely injured by the mine explosion.
