On 8 October 2023, Russian warplanes conducted airstrikes targeting Idleb city in conjunction with regime fighters and pro-Iranian militias shelling the city and its vicinity including targeting hospitals, residential areas and an IDP camp in the city, killing six including three children, two woman and a man who was helping civilians injured by the shelling and temporarily putting the Jam'a hospital out of service. 6 fatalities.
